Remington Golden Saber 9mm 124gr BJHP Ammo - 29357
Remington Golden Saber 9mm 124gr BJHP ammunition is a premium defensive handgun load engineered for controlled expansion, deep penetration, reliable feeding, and consistent terminal performance. The Golden Saber High-Performance Jacket design uses a brass jacket rather than traditional copper gilding metal, helping create strong jacket petals that support controlled bullet expansion.
Remington 29357 is loaded with a 124-grain Brass-Jacketed Hollow Point projectile and produces a muzzle velocity of 1,125 FPS with approximately 349 ft-lbs of muzzle energy. This is the standard-pressure 9mm Golden Saber load, making it distinct from Remington's separate 124-grain +P Golden Saber offering.
The Golden Saber projectile incorporates Remington's Driving Band design at the rear of the bullet. This configuration reduces rifling contact while helping center the projectile as it enters the bore for consistent accuracy and velocity. Jacket nose cuts are engineered to initiate controlled expansion while conserving energy for effective penetration.
